Joining Pure Charity

Hard to believe that almost two years ago, I had the privilege of joining the Nickelodeon team.  I have learned so much and gained friends who I will treasure for the rest of my life.  Nickelodeon has been so good to me and my family, and for that I am truly thankful.

However, it is time for this season to come to a close and for a new one to begin.

I am excited to share that I am joining the Pure Charity team as their “Chief Catalyst” (which simply means I have the privilege of trying to figure out how to align a lot of moving parts to work together for good).

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to listen to Josh Copher’s (Pure Charity’s Founder) heart of faith, desire to meet needs in the world, and his vision for Pure Charity.  Over the coming week, as Corrie and I worked through the intersection of our lives with this vision we knew it was something we had to do.

So, what is Pure Charity?

Pure Charity is an global platform to inspire and encourage a movement of generosity by enabling individuals to harness the power of their consumer spending to fund causes they care deeply about.

I feel like this is an opportunity for me to use my experience in the consumer products area to direct funding to the deep needs of the world.

My favorite part?

It’s not about spending more, it’s about bringing a redemptive narrative to how we already spend.  Most people just don’t realize how much influence they have based on how they spend, and I believe this is an opportunity to empower a whole lot of people to harness that influence.

We have a lot of work to do over the coming months to prepare for the launch, and I can’t wait to share more.

Until then…feel free to follow along at

(If you’re still reading at this point :-). This link will allow a few people to create accounts in the Beta environment to help us with testing.  If you don’t get in, don’t worry you’ll go on the invite list and I’ll let you know when things are moving.  Of course, you can send me an email & I make it happen that way also)
