Beside the still waters I bid you pause and rest. Soul-rest needs quietness-the stillness of My presence. Turbulence abounds when you seek your will, when you linger in old guilts & regrets, when you worry about your future or that of your loved ones. But if you will linger here, My child, and accept the quietness of spirit I offer you, you may go on your way rejoicing in hope. Frantic striving does not accomplish My perfect will, no matter how well-intentioned. ‘Whoever offers praise glorifies Me.’ So pause, refresh your soul in My still waters, and be renewed.
