November 4th is day we pause to ask the people of the church to recommit themselves to the cause of the orphan and vulnerable children in our world.
We now call it “Orphan Sunday”…actually, they call it Orphan Sunday. The first Orphan Sunday took place in a small church in Zambia pastored by Billy Chondwe.
It is their gift that the world has followed.
This is their story.
For more information on Orphan Sunday & how you can use this day to help care for orphans and vulnerable children in your community and beyond, please visit the Orphan Sunday website (http://orphansunday.org).
& you can visit my “Causes” page to find some very easy ways to support caring for Orphaned & Vulnerable Children around the world.
If you live in NW Arkansas, I would encourage you to join the community at NWAAdoptions.com (you don’t have to have adopted to be member…it’s all about caring for vulnerable children).
