…every once in a while you see things that cause you to pause and question if you really saw what you thought you saw.
Yesterday that happen in a really, really big way.
Two short months ago in the dust and dirt of Haiti, a dream was born. Gathered around a small table a group of people made a decision that they could not leave Haiti without taking a stand for the children at Yaveh Shamma Orphanage.
The decisions that day become a dream…a dream with a price tag of about $100,000.
…and this dream slowly began to awaken in the hearts & souls of an entire community dedicated to living with the desire to “set things right.”
Step by step, phase by phase, the dream started to become tangible.
Yesterday afternoon the dream became reality.
Construction will begin in January & the real story will begin…
I will count my time in Haiti as one of life’s greatest gifts. Being present with the people who have carried this dream will never be forgotten.
Tomorrow the real story begins as work towards construction of this school begins.
Thank you for all who have supported this work…you are the heroes in stories that have yet to be written.
My simple prayer is for this blessing upon all…
May the Lord bless you and keep you;
May the Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.
All is Grace.
(and, if you would still like to take part, there is an opportunity to fund the teacher’s salaries at the school)
